On November 8, 2024, at 10:00 AM (Japan Standard Time), Donna Yang, Vice President of MAILab's subsidiary MicroFM, delivered a one-hour presentation and Q&A session on the topic of "AI-Based Logistics Innovation" at a seminar at the University of Tokyo.
The seminar was hosted by the Progressive Logistics Science program at the University of Tokyo’s Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology. This program, supported by prominent Japanese logistics companies such as Yamato, SBS, Suzuyo, and Nippon Express, as well as the Development Bank of Japan, was established to propose solutions for Japan’s logistics industry, which faces challenges exacerbated by urbanization and an aging population.
Donna showcased MicroFM's QuickCom service, which enables one-hour delivery in Seoul, as a case study of innovative urban logistics solutions. She also explained how MAILab's AI supercomputer and vision AI solutions contribute to warehouse automation and enhanced logistics efficiency for MicroFM, presenting a new model for the future of the logistics industry.
